Elaborate Repousse´ ring with Lapis

Handcrafted by a renown Navajo artist Albert Jake. This elaborate sterling silver ring features designs that are crafted in a method called repousse´.Repoussé or repoussage refer to a metalworking technique in which a malleable metal is shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. The artist is known for his unique designs and tradional patterns in his jewelry. The setting measures 1-1/2" x 1" and frames a oval Lapis stone measuring 3/4" x 1/2".It all sets on a wide shank with detailed stamping. Due to this sizing is limited.
