Cold Chisel silver pendant w/Sonoran turquoise

Handcrafted Navajo pendant by artist Albert Jake. He has stamped it with his name and shop hallmark of "HBH" which stands for "heavy by hand". The unique pendant has a stamping design referred to as "cold chisel". The process entails hammering the silver with a metal chisel without the silver being pre-heated to make it softer. Stamping silver with doing this is much more difficult and requires a higher skill level. The aritst has mounted the stone high which really shows the coloring and texture of the Sonoran turquoise. It has beautiful blues and greens with a goldish brown matrix. The pendant is shown on a turquoise nugget necklace (SKU ANA1743  )

Material: Sterling silver and genuine Sonran turquoise

Measurements: 1-3/4" in length with a maximum width of 1-1/2" - Bail is large enought to accommodate up to a 20mm bead or necklace
