NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED NECKLACE SET

Navajo handcrafted and designed by renown artist Calvin Begay. Set in solid sterling silver, this necklace set features a hinged design that allows it to lay perfectly on any neck line, it has an overall length of approximately 18". The set includes matching earrings. All the inlay elements are hand cut. No paint or enamel is used in crafting the inlay.The necklace has 15 inlay pieces that dangle perfectly. It has a medium weight. It securely fastens with a box clasp and safety chain. This is a stunning piece. 

 NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
