Our largest offering from Navajo artist Fred Begay. This outstanding piece is set in solid sterling silver and features some of the finest inlay ever. The design shows a desert night sky full of stars, moons and shooting stars with a adobe village below. The artist carefully uses stones such picture jasper, tiger eye and pipestone for the villages. The dark sky is a fossilized wood called jet.The bracelet is 1" wide with an inside measurement of 6" and a 1"5/8 opening. This will fit a mans wrist. Although he began creating jewelry when he was in his teens, he didn’t begin inlaying pieces until after high school. He is self-taught in his craft, and is a true pioneer in the world of intricate inlay. Known for his " Pueblo " jewelry Fred recently was awarded a 1st place in Gallup Ceremonials.
