Inlay horse head pendant- Night Sky

Navajo handcrafted horse head inlay pendant. Designed by renown artist Calvin Begay. Made of solid sterling silver with genuine hand cut black jet, silver and cultured opal. The pendant features a inlay designed showing a scenic Night Sky in the shape of a horse head.

 Measurements: 1-1/2" in total length with a maximum width of 1". The bail is large enough to accommodate up to a 7mm bead or chain necklace.

NIGHT SKY JEWELRY COLLECTION: Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo believe that Father Sky contains everything unknown and therefor look to the sky for many of their answers. Due to the isolation of the Navajo nation the night skies are very dark and show many of the constellations that cannot been seen in other parts of the United States. The Navajo look to these stars for meanings and answers to their culture.
