Vintage 1970's Coral & Persian Turquoise bracelet

Vintage 1970's cuff bracelet. Genuine Persian turquoise and mediterranean red coral. Four pieces of heavy gauge 1/2 round wire is used for the base of the bracelet. The artist has used 16 pieces of red coral and a single piece of Persian turquoise. Measuring 1"1/2 with a 1" taper. Easily fit to mosts wrist with a 5"1/2 inside measurement with a 1" opening. This is a rare offering. 

 Red coral comes from certain areas, such as the Mediterranean, where the specific water temperature and conditions allow coral to thrive. Coral is a hardened tube or branch. Only about 10% of coral is considered jewelry quality. Coral comes in shades from blood-red to orange to pink to white
