Navajo handcrafted bracelet featuring a single piece of green Malachite. The unique design uses both triangle and 1/2 round wire intertwined .The artist has used heavy guage silver giving it a sturdy feel but because of the open style of the bracelet it is light weight and easy to wear. The bracelet shows 2 repairs to the silver that have been re-enforced. We guarantee all our pieces against defects in craftsmanship for the life of the piece.
It comes attached to its original red pawn ticket. The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture.
