Vintage 1970's petrified wood bracelet

1970's Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet made of solid sterling silver.It features a single oval piece of petrified wood with natural pattern.The simple design of the bracelet really shows off the wood. The artist has used a light weight sheet silver with unique cut outs and stamping.

Petrified wood is found in northern Arizona. The national park protects one of the largest and most colorful concentrations of petrified wood in the world. Made up of almost solid quartz, each piece of petrified wood is like a giant crystal, often sparkling in the sunlight with a rainbow of colors.
