Navajo handcrafted inlay ring. Designed by renown artist Calvin Begay. Set in solid sterling silver. Genuine hand cut fossilized wood (jet), picture jasper and cultured opals. the unique setting measures 5/8" x 3/8". The thick silver shank is very sturdy and holds the inlay design securely.Highly detailed and easy to wear.  The Pueblo design you see in your piece reflects the of the Navajo people’s lifestyle. The scenery is set in New Mexico, near "Shiprock" mountain. This mountain range is a sacred area for the Navajo. The black represents Father sky (everything known) while the pueblos are mother earth (everything known)
