Navajo purple spiny oyster shell ring

Handcrafted ring by Navajo artist Bernyse Chavez. This unique ring features a single turquosie heart with beautiful green coloring. The oval shell  is mounted in a smooth setting on a wide adjustable ring shank. It is adjustable from sizes 9 to 12 . If you love purple, then this may be the ring for you. Perfectly balance and easy to wear.

In the American Oceans, the Spondylids occur along the North American coasts, as far north as North Carolina, on the Atlantic Coast, and northwestern Mexico Purple Spiny Oysters grow in deeper water, making them more difficult to find and harvest.
