1970's Persian turquoise ring

Handcrafted ring by a Navajo artist from the 1970's. Made of sterling silver with genuine Persian turquoise. This turquoise is known for its bright blue coloring with flecks of black matrix. In addition to this the stones are cut very thick causing them to be mounted high in the setting. The oval stone measures 3/4" x 5/8" . Detailed silver work surrounds the stone.
