Thin Navajo bracelet w/ Golden Hills turquoise by Jeffery Nelson

Handcrafted By Navajo artist Jeffery Nelson. The bracelet features three oval Golden Hills turquoise stone. Another unique feature that really sets this bracelet apart from the rest is the detailed stamping work around the stone and along the sides.The thin width allows it to lay comfortably on the wrist. This is a wonderful example of a Navajo bracelet with a Lapis stone. 

Materials: Sterling silver & Golden Hills turquoise

Measurements: Width 1/2", inside 5-1/4" with a opening of 1-1/4" (all measurements are approximate)

Stone: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
