This is the largest pendant we offer in the Charoite stone. It is known for its vibrant shades of purples that swirl around the stone. The piece has detailed silver work surrounding the stone. It is done in solid sterling silver that has been brushed giving it a antique look. The pendant measures 2" in length and is 1"1/2 wide. It features a large bail that can accommodate up to a 20mm set of Navajo pearls. (Shown on a 22" saucer style set of beads- sold seperately-SKU# Bil 770) 

 Charoite: The charoite stone is usually violet, lilac, or lavender in color, and it will vary in shades of dark to light violet. There will also be traces of black, white, and grey on the stone, making it one of the most attractive gemstones in the world. The swirling patterns of purple and other colors also make it one of the most unique! Charoite, also called lilac stone and Charoite Jade, was first discovered in the Sakha Republic, Russia, along the Chara River in the 1940s.It was called charoite when it arrived in the western markets.
