Oval stone cuff bracelet

Handcrafted by Navajo artist Happy Piasso. Made of solid sterling silver with genuine Kingman turquoise. The bracelet features a unique scalloped edge and detialed stamping. The oval stone is mounted horizontally on the bracelet and measures 3/4" x 5/8".  The traditional style of this piece is a signature of the artist. It has an inside measurement of 5-1/4" with a opening of 1-1/4". This is a beautiful bracelet. 

Artist: Happy Piaso, Navajo, is 40 years old (2014) and is married to Rudie Willie. She was born and raised in Alamo, New Mexico and has 2 children, one of which is in the military. Happy was taught the craft of silversmithing by her husband, Rudie.

Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
