NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED RING WITH KINGMAN TURQUOISE
Stunning Navajo handcrafted ring with Kingman Turquoise. Set in solid sterling silver. The stone has beautiful coloring.It measures 1"5/8 x 3/4". The setting has 21 unique round "star" stamps surround the stone. It measures 2"1/4 x 1"3/8". The shank also has detailed stamping on it. The ring has a heavy feel to it. Truly a one of a kind piece.
Stone: Kingman Turquoise originates in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona. One of the largest domestic turquoise mines, it is found in a large open pit copper mine in the high desert country. The Kingman Mine district was first mined by Native Americans; it was part of the most extensive prehistoric workings in Arizona.
