Large golden hills turquoise necklace & earrings set

NAVAJO HANDCRAFTED NECKLACE SET

This beautiful set features 19 high grade golden hills turquoise all set in sterling silver with a brushed antique finish. The necklace measures 18" long w/a 2" ext allowing you to vary the length. The center piece of the necklace is the pendant with its cluster of 5 stones that measure 2" in length. The large Navajo pearls that are spaced throughout the necklace are approximately 10mm in size each.The stones that dangle off them vary in size from 3/4" to 5/8" in length. Matching earrings are on a silver post & dangle down 1"3/4 and consist of 3 stones each. Complete with a custom case and a certificate of authenticity. 

Stone: GOLDEN HILLS TURQUOISE: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
