Multi-colored inlay Kokopelli pendant

Navajo handcrafted inlay kokopelli pendant. The unique design features a variety of colorful stones in the body along with a single turquoise stone in the head. It hangs on a large bail that will accommodate a 6mm bead or chain. This is a wonderful example of a tradional southwestern figure in highly detailed pendant. 

Materials:Sterling silver, turquoise,spiny oyster shell, jet and cultured opal

Image: (koh-koh-pell-ee) is a deity and symbol of fertility recognized by several Native American groups in the Southwestern part of the country. Like other fertility gods, Kokopelli is known to preside over both agriculture and childbirth.
