Handcrafted by a Zuni artist. This small earring & pendant set features a flower design pattern in both the post earrings and pendant. The set is attached to its original red pawn ticket. The term "pawn" refers to jewelry that has been pawned to brokers. The practice of pawning jewelry began in the early 1900s when Native Americans and traders would exchange jewelry for food and other necessities, it is still used today and is embedded in the Navajo culture.
Earrings: 5 petal design pattern made of sterling silver and a blue/green cultured opal. They measure 3/8" across and are mounted to a silver post.
Pendant: 8 petal design pattern made of solid sterling silvre and blue/green cultured opal.It measures 1/2" across. We will include a 18" silver chain.
