Large golden hills turquoise pendant

Handcrafted pendant by Navajo artist Murphy Platero. Known for his use of high quality stones and unique details.The large pendant measures 2"1/2 in total length. Genuine golden hills turquoise stone measures 1"1/4 x 3/4. Beautiful silver work surrounds the stone that really sets it a part from the rest. It is perfectly sized to wear with Navajo pearls or even a silver collar. 

 Stone: GOLDEN HILLS TURQUOISE: In the Russian hills of Kazakhstan sits the GOLDEN HILLS mine. The Turquoise is only mined in the winter months during the freezing cold and snow as rains flood the mine during the summer. The location of the mine is remote and difficult to bring equipment in and out of. It is the only Turquoise known to have the unique coloring of bright blue with a Lavender undertone.
