The Zuni create many different animals and birds these days. Creatures that they see during their daily lives that may not provide benefit or blessing . In creating some of these creatures they attempt to get the figure as life like as possible thus featuring some of the finest carvings available. This beautiful Skunk stands approximately 1 1/2 inch tall by 2 inches wide and is exquisitely carved with every detail of Black Marble. He has Turquoise inlayed eyes.
