Night Sky design Gecko pendant

Handcrafted pendant designed by Navajo artist Calvin Begay. The unique pendant features a elongated gecko inlayed with a raised Night Sky pattern. The pendant dangles from a medium sized bail that can accommodate up to a 6mm beaded or chain necklace. The shape of the gecko lets it lay perfectly on the neckline. 

Material: Sterling silver, jet, jasper and cultured opals

Measurements: 2-1/4" in length with a maximum width of 3/4"

Design:Inspired by the clear dark night skies of the Navajo Nation. The Black you see is called "JET "and is a fossilized wood, which has been compressed over millions of years. Multiple pieces of stone make up the mosaic image. The stars are made from pieces of silver and the larger star and moon along with the shooting star are made from Cultured Opal.
